We collect personal identification information when you enrol, create a portal account, or contact us. You may be asked for your name, email address, WhatsApp number, mailing address, exam date and payment information. You provide this information voluntarily. We use it to identify you, provide the program you enrolled in, and communicate with you about it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number; Stripe provides us with a record of the payment, your name and email, and the last four digits of the card so we can identify the purchase and issue your portal login.
If you enrol, the portal stores your quiz and mock results, oral case recordings and their transcripts and scores, your private notes, your study-week tasks, and messages you send to classmates. Your notes and tasks are visible only to you. Your results are visible to you and to the instructors and mentors responsible for your program. Oral recordings are kept to score your attempt and let you replay it, and are deleted on a schedule described in the portal. Private messages between students are not read by staff unless a participant reports a message.
Our website and portal may collect non-personal information such as your device's IP address, browser version and the pages you visit. We use it to keep the services secure and to improve them.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
We use third-party services to run PT StudyBuddy, each bound by its own privacy terms: Stripe (payments), Supabase (portal accounts and data), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Bunny.net (video), Zoom (live classes), and Google services for email. Some of these providers process data in the United States.
Our website may use cookies to enhance your experience, and the portal uses them to keep you logged in. You can refuse cookies in your browser; the portal will not work without them.
We value your trust in providing your personal information and use commercially acceptable means to safeguard it, although no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can update your profile information in the portal, and you can ask us to correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. Deleting your account ends access to the program.
We may change this notice from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new date.
