How We Started
Our founder, Mr. Ankit Shahi, used to teach at the Mississippi State University. As per the request of his students, he started the NPTE preparation class, which initially had four members on the first day but ended up becoming 40 by the end of the first batch.
The seed of PT StudyBuddy was planted, and with an unwavering vision to provide a unified platform for all his students, Ankit established the company that you see today. Owing to time constraints, Ankit could only teach musculoskeletal initially, but he was delighted with his simplified and properly directed knowledge, so students insisted he teach cardiopulmonary as well.
Later, he met his college senior and friend, Mayank, who started his career in the United States back in 2010 and worked as a licensed physical therapist in New York. After a few years, he sought better opportunities and moved to India. He had an excellent command of the Neurology subject, which made him a part of Ankit’s team.
Two of Ankit’s students, Pooja Batni and Mansi Khambhati, who are licensed and working as successful physical therapists in states of North Carolina and Virginia, are teaching other- systems and non-systems with the same energy that meets his vision.
Over time, the team realized they needed help in managing the students. This was where Dr. Ashlesha Mahajan came into the picture. She is a physical therapist from India who works as an administrator and serves as the link between tutors and students, which made the tutorial process a lot smoother and so much more functional.
Our other team members, Purvi Verma Shahi, Kiran Naz, Ankita Tiwari, and Sri Valli Chekuri, are dedicated to helping the aspirants by routinely posting everyday questions, case studies, and various other informative topics on our Facebook groups.
